Cable Punch
The cable punch is a tool used by electricians for inserting electrical wires like NMD and AC of all sizes into ICFs (insulated concrete forms). It reduces the time required to force the wire into the insulated concrete form. It is also used to make sure wire has been inserted to a depth that will meet there local electrical code. The ICF is first cut with a chainsaw and the wire is placed inside the channel the saw has cut, the wire is then inserted with the cable punch. The Cable Punch is patent pending in Canada and USA and is new to the market from Journeyman Tools ==Description==
The Cable Punch tool is great for inserting electrical wires like NMD and AC of all sizes into ICF walls. This Cable Punch is a time saving tool that reduces the time required to force the wire into the Insulated Concrete Form. Jobsite tests have shown a 75% reduction in time required for this job. The ICF Cable Punch won't damage the wires and the wire is pushed past the required 1¼” (32mm) this means never again will an inspection be failed due to wires being too close to the surface. The ICF is first cut with a chainsaw and the wire is passed, the wire is then inserted with the Cable Punch. Every Cable Punch is hand painted and welded at our shop in Eastern Ontario. We inspect every Cable Punch to guarantee a flawless product every time.
